What's the difference between a battery for a laptop and a "replacement" battery?
I have to buy a new battery for my 3 yr old Toshiba laptop, and found a pretty good deal on the one I need. It's called a "Toshiba PA3399U Li-Ion Replacement Laptop Battery." I'm no expert when it comes to computers, and was wondering why it says "replacement"? Also, the pictures do not match exactly the laptop battery i have right now. My laptop battery has "Toshiba Li-ion battery pack PA3399U" written on it, whereas the one on the site says "Replaces PA339U." It doesn't say Toshiba on it anywhere. Are these the same? Am I overthinking this?
