I use the WiFi in a very different place, most of the time I can listen to Internet radio in those places, but a Panera Bread! I do not know that there is a way of stopping transmission video and music, but you can minimize the effects. The video is usually heard at the same port that uses web browswer. I am not aware of a router at home that is smart enough to inspect the packages to determine the content. In other words, it is difficult to distinguish a web page from a image of a Youtube video, when one looks only at data from more than one port. However, most routers now have a way to resolve Quality of Service (QoS). This means that you can increase or decrease the priority of traffic to certain ports (or phone fixed and mobile ports) to specific MAC addresses, and for some applications (such as targeting a different port using a web browser). Each device is connected to the network will a unique MAC address (at least in theory). If you can determine the MAC address abuse, you can reduce your low priority. You can prioritize applications as high. You can also prioritize VoIP devices as used by Skype.
